Mrs. Sylvia June Lakes Sellers passed away Friday.

Sylvia, daughter of the late, Mr. Clarence and Hattie Mae Lakes, was born Aug. 20, 1957, in LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include her husband, Robert “Jody” Sellers; one son, Tremaine Sellers; one daughter, Jemika Sellers; two grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Lakes and Kenneth Lakes; daughters-in-love, Shaneita Burr and Terita Smith; grandchildren whom she reared as her own; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and other relatives.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 610 Glenn Robertson Drive. The excellent care of Mrs. Sellers is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
