Christine Gaul

Christine Gaul, 91, recently of Lenexa, Kansas, but a 38 year resident of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on January 23, 2019.  Chris was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and graduated from Paseo High School before attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence.   She worked for the Staley Milling Company in Kansas City and for a number of years was employed by State Farm Insurance at agencies in both Mission and Shawnee, Kansas.

During their 71 years of marriage, Chris and her husband, Bob, lived in eight different states, mostly in the Midwest before moving to Georgia. They loved their many travels, especially times spent in their motor home.  Her other interests included playing bridge, working in her yard and volunteering for activities with developmentally disabled children. Chris was much loved and will be greatly missed by her sons, other family and friends.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband Bob, who passed away on Nov. 19, 2018; her son, Mark Curtis Gaul; and her parents, Carl Melvin Snow and Leora May McIntire. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Brant and Mary Ellen Gaul, of Lenexa, Kansas; grandchildren, Brenna and Derek Gaul; son, Steve Gaul, of Lincoln, Nebraska; and daughter-in-law, Vikki Gaul of Sarasota, Florida.

   An open house to celebrate Chris and Bob’s life is planned at the Gaul’s house in La Grange from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 9. Please leave condolences at Mtmoriah.net.
