Mrs. Ruth Flowers passed away Tuesday. She was born Feb. 16, 1932, along with her twin brother, the late Rufus Satterwhite, to Lena Stephens and Virgil Satterwhite in LaGrange, Georgia.

She attended East Depot High School and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Yvonne and Jerome Pittman, Barbara Gail White, and Kathy Dowell; grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Julia and Eddie Reeves; brother, Larry and Jo Whitehead; special nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives, nieces and nephews and special friends.

The service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 943 Borton Street and will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
