For dozens of local players, a dream will be realized today when they sign their letters of intent to play football on the collegiate level.

Callaway, LaGrange and Troup will all have players signing during ceremonies at the school.

They’ll join Troup’s King Mwikuta (Alabama) and Callaway’s Keiondre Jones (Auburn), who took advantage of the early signing period in December.

At Troup, a handful of players will participate in a signing ceremony at 9:30 a.m.

Callaway’s ceremony is at 11 a.m. in the gym, and as many as 20 players are expected to sign.

LaGrange’s signees will be a part of a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. in the school’s gym.
