Mrs. Rebecca Elaine Shiver Hardy, age 62, of Opelika, passed away on Feb. 23, 2019, at the St. Francis Hospital in Columbus. Mrs. Hardy was born on Feb. 9, 1957, in Albany, Georgia. 

Her parents, Roy D. Shiver and Charlotte Davis Shiver preceded her in death. 

Survivors include her daughter, Mandy Hardy Hand; her siblings, David Shiver, Mark Shiver, Billy Shiver, Kathy Harper and Connie Carter (David); grandchildren, Trevor Hand,Trenton Hand and Kolton Fortner; son-in-law, Jason Fortner; extended family and friends.
