Wild Leap Brew Co., the brainchild and successful local business of Rob Goldstein and Anthony Rodriguez, has recently been nominated as one of the top 10 best new breweries in the United States by 10best.com, a website that is underneath the umbrella of USA Today. Voting is currently underway for the top position and will run through March 25, while winners will be announced on April 5, per the website.

Wild Leap, which opened in September 2017, is competing against breweries from cities all over the United States, including some in large markets. Eagle Park Brewing Company in Milwaukee, Masthead Brewing Company in Cleveland, Cinderlands Beer Company in Pittsburgh, Brink Brewing Company in Cincinnati and Level Beer in Portland, Oregon are among the 10 nominees.

For LaGrange to have a local business included in a nationwide list such as this is a positive economic and cultural signifier. The representation among the best of the best in any industry, particularly one as saturated and competitive as the craft beer landscape, speaks to the talent and ability of local entrepreneurs.
