Mrs. Myrtie Bernice Cammon, age 93 of LaGrange, passed away on March 1, 2019, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. 

Mrs. Cammon was born on March 27, 1925, in Carrollton to the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Norman.  She worked at Playtex for many years and was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cammon Sr.; five siblings and her daughter, Sandra Alsobrook.   

Survivors include her son, Fred Cammon Jr. and his wife Sherrie; grandchildren, Robison Lee Cammon, Mitch Alsobrook (Ashley), Brian Alsobrook (Tara) and Jason Cammon; brother, Kirby Norman; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 4, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Interment followed at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at Higginsfuneralhome.com.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel, (706) 884-7117.
