The celebration of life service for Mother Frances Ringer Presley will be Saturday, March 9, 2019, at noon at First Baptist Church, 208 Fannin Street, LaGrange, GA 30241.

The Rev. Dr. Clarence Sams, Pastor Rev. Sam M. Cameron, eulogist and pastor of Springfield Baptist Church, 743 Ringer Street, LaGrange, GA 30241.

She was born Oct. 1, 1934, and passed away  March 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Wylene Turner Ringer and sisters Mollie Belle Ringer and Willie Mae Ringer Bryant.

Survivors include daughters, Angela Presley Smith, wife of Rev. C. J. Smith; Joan Carole Presley all of LaGrange, Ga; grandson, Jonason Ringer Holland; great-grandchildre, Jaye’la, Journey of Carrollton and Avery and Kierra of Douglasville; grandson, Andare’ Chase Smith of LaGrange, GA; brothers and sisters, Willie Douglas and Stephanie Ringer Jr. and Larry Owens, all of LaGrange, Freddie and Brenda Owens, Riverdale.

Mrs. Presley was a dedicated member of Springfield Baptist Church, serving in such capacities as president of the Ushers’ Ministry, President of the Mothers’ Ministry and Director of Dining Service. She has also been recognized as The Only Living Founder/Mother of Springfield Baptist Church.
