Mrs. Lorenda Middlebrooks, 92, of LaGrange and a former resident of Greenville Georgia, passed away early Monday morning at Twin Fountains Home. Mrs. Middlebrooks was born at home Feb. 23, 1927, to the late Willie Henry “Buddy Boy” & Mrs. Louise Stinson Caldwell.

Mrs. Middlebrooks was a former employee of Dr. Strickland, Playtex and Callaway Gardens. Up until her health failed, she was a faithful member of Springfield Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board and helped in the kitchen.

Survivors include, her son, Mr. Frank Middlebrooks, Atlanta, Grandchildren,Faith Middlebrooks, Fredrick Middlebrooks, Franklin Middlebrooks, Brandon Sheets, Jordan Render and Makayla Reed and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lorenda Middlebrooks will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019, from the chapel of the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with The Rev. Dwayne Reese officiating. The Family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Middlebrooks family plot in the Greenville city cemetery.
