LaGrange High’s Sydney Ormsby held her own during Monday’s Granger Invitational at Highland Country Club.

Ormsby carded an 80, and that put her in a tie for second place in the 11-team tournament.

Ormsby finished four shots behind the tournament champion, Ainsley Cowart of Central-Carroll, who was the low medalist for the second straight year.

Bremen was the team champion with a score of 253, and Columbus was second at 272.

Teams could have as many as four players, and the top three scores counted toward the team total.

LaGrange and Troup were among the competing teams.

Ally Arp had LaGrange’s second-best score with a 111, and Macee Stone shot a 120.

Also for LaGrange, Eileen Hwang shot a 127.

Troup had three players, and Sydney Lindsey led the way with a 109, followed closely by Sarah Blank with a 110.

Taylor Kennedy shot a 117.
