Willodean “Dean” Turner, age 88, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Wednesday March 20, 2019. Dean was born on April 27, 1930, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Beatrice (Cantrell) and Obie Norris. Dean was loved by all and will be missed by all.

Dean is survived by her beloved children, sons, John and Joannie Turner; Fred and Mary Turner; and daughter, Glady Morman. She is the cherished grandmother of Angel Turner-Garstka, John Michael Turner, Gina White, Jessica Jarvholm, Jennifer Turner, Judson Turner, Brock Morman, Jeffrey Morman, Mallory Morman and great-grandmother of 15.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley (Norris) Railey and  Geraldine (Norris) Cadwell; and brother, Owen Norris.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church on the Square, LaGrange, Georgia. A celebration of life service will be Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. A private family burial will be held at Hillview Annex Cemetery, LaGrange, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dean’s memory may be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, Georgia 30240.
