Human remains found on Fulton Street last year were recently identified as a missing LaGrange man.

The man, Johnny Redden, was identified after the remains were sent to the GBI crime lab, according to Sgt. Robert Kirby with the LPD. Redden would’ve been in his 50s. It is believed that Redden went missing around 2016.

The remains were found in January 2018 by a group of ATV riders, who saw what they believed to be human bones. At the time of the discovery, the LPD estimated that the bones had been there for quite some time, likely more than a year.
