Mr. Earl Lorenzo Bowen, age 92, of LaGrange, passed away on March 31, 2019 at the Florence Hand Home.  Mr. Bowen was born on March 19, 1927 in LaGrange to the late John Henry Bowen and Willie Mae Whitley Bowen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy Bowen; brother, Joel Bowen.  Mr. Bowen faithfully served his country in the United States Army and Air Corp.  He was the Owner of Bowen Photography, having photographed the community of LaGrange and Troup County through countless school pictures, weddings and other special events.  Mr. Bowen loved his church and was a Charter Member of the Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Ann Allison Bowen; sons, Rodger Bowen and Kerry Bowen and his wife Cindy; daughters, Teresa McDonald and her husband Ken, Anita Woodham and her husband Terry and Allison Brown and her husband Bob; sister, Lurline Duncan; grandchildren, Matt Bowen, Brad Bowen, Chase Bowen (Heather), Amanda Kennedy (Ben), Kerianne Bowen, Emily Madliak (Aaron), Ashley Mallory, Ayden Beard and Josie Brown; great grandchildren, Braydon Bowen, Brantley Bowen, Kennedy Bowen and Avery Kennedy, Beckhman Madliak, Annie Madliak; special caregivers, Viola Ramsey, Dee Hicks, Bobbie Davis, Jarvis Williams, and Angie Ramsey; nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Grace Baptist Church with interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 pm until service hour.
