Mr. Charlie Spencer (“C.S.”) Lovelace Sr.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Charlie Spencer (“C.S.”) Lovelace Sr. of 770 Mary Johnson Drive, Apt. F21 in Franklin will be held Friday at 1:00PM at the Mount Carrie Baptist Church, Victory Road in Franklin.   Pastor Ronnie Jones and Dr. W. T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will be in the Stateline Baptist Church Cemetery in Glenn.

Mr. Lovelace, a native of Heard County, was born January 10, 1935 and was the son of the late Charlie Frank Lovelace Sr. and Nettie Mattie Bradfield Lovelace.  He worked in the pulpwood and logging industry.   He was a member of Mount Carrie Baptist Church.

He leaves to celebrate his life, two daughters: Pamela Darlene Cook and Angela Denise Kenyon; one son, Charlie Spencer (Sonja) Lovelace Jr.; five grandchildren, Towanna Latrice Swint, Sheena Demesha Swint, Malcolm Lawrence Kenyon, Carlie Samantha Lovelace and Addison Grace Lovelace; two great-grandchildren, T’Aja De’branna Ke’Shae Swint and Brayden Isaiah Roussell; five sisters, Willie Eris (Charlie) Henderson, Willie Ruth Lovelace Slay, Eather Pearl Goss, Annie Ruth (Elton) Peacock and Gloria Jean Eubanks; sister-in-law, Annie Joyce Lovelace, and  many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Eddie William, Charlie Frank Jr.; Milton Lee, John H. Glenn and Willie Joe Glenn; and two sisters: Bunnie Mae Holley and Mattie Lou Watkins.  The family will be at their home.
