Mrs. Virginia Holland “Gin” McKay

Mrs. Virginia Holland “Gin” McKay, age 87, passed away on April 2, 2019, at the Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.  Mrs. McKay was born on Oct. 27, 1931, in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clarence Holland and Lunette Edwards Holland.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Max McKay. Survivors include her son, Tony McKay and his wife Patsy; daughters, Cindy Norman and her husband Eric; sister, Diane Sims; grandchildren, Max Norman, Kimberly Martin and Holly McKay; great grandchildren, Willow McDonald and Aubrey Martin; extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on the Square with Dr. Paul Baxter, Pastor Cade Farris and the Rev. Paul Blair in charge of the service.  Private family entombment will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until service hour.
