Road maintenance crews with the Georgia Department of Transportation will begin work Tuesday on the shoulders of the exit ramps on Interstate 185 southbound at the Upper Big Springs Road interchange.

The work is expected to continue through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, according to a GDOT press release. A flagger will be present to assist traffic if needed, and orange cones and signage will be placed around the exit ramps to alert drivers to the work zones.

According to the press release, while the lanes of the affected exits will not be closed, motorists are urged to slow their speeds and drive carefully around the work zones.
