Dorothy Jean Bell passed away Sunday. She was born August 3, 1943 in Troup County, Georgia to the late, Oscar Thompson and Annie Pearl Thompson. Dorothy was a member of Bethlehem Temple.

Survivors include seven children,  Roger Gates, Sylvia Moreland, Willie (Vera) Moreland, Christopher Gates, Henry Gates, Rodriques Peterson, Jeannie (Rico) Douglas, all of LaGrange, GA; two sisters, Mildred Hart and Durisha Moreland; brother, Joseph Lee Thompson; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving church family, other relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church.
