The LaGrange Police Department is investigating an alleged armed robbery and stabbing that occurred Sunday morning at the Laurel Crossing Apartment Complex.

According to a LPD press release, officers were dispatched to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center at 3:20 a.m. Sunday in reference to a person who had been stabbed. The victim told police that he had been stabbed by two male subjects who approached him in the parking lot of the Laurel Crossing Apartment complex and tried to rob him. Jackson was treated for multiple stab wounds and was released.
