Mr. Steven Craig Thompson Jr. 33, passed away May 4, 2019, in West Point. He was born June 17, 1985, in Louisville, Kentucky to Wanda “Dodie” Thompson and the late Steven Craig Thompson Sr.

Craig was employed at Conaway Electric Co. in LaGrange. Having grown up on the Chattahoochee River, he could be found doing what he loved most, fishing and admiring the scenery. He had a big heart for animals and Alabama football. He had a bigger heart for his friends and family, making a lasting impact big or small on everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother, Dodie Thompson; daughter, Larayne Thompson; sister, Whitney Burkett; brother, James (Cindy) Thompson; sister, Aynsley Thompson; sister, Carly (Kirk) Fuller; brother, Michael (Mallory) Thompson; sister, Jenny (Noah) Johnson; sister, Penny Thompson; nieces and nephews; Raegan, Reese, and Ryan Burkett;, Hayden Thrift, Trenton Waldrop, Isla Thompson, Harper Fuller, and Jackson Thompson.

The gathering of family and friends will be Friday May 10, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel. Those wishing to share a condolence or remembrance with the family may do so by visiting www.shlagrange.com.
