Man stabbed on Carver Street

On Sunday at 2:01 a.m., the LaGrange Police Department responded to reports of a stabbing on Carver Street, according to a LPD press release.

According to the LPD, officers made contact on Cedar Street with the victim, who had stab wounds to his chest and back. 

According to the press release, the victim said that he was walking in the Carver Street area when he witnessed an unknown male and female arguing. The victim reportedly attempted to intervene, and he claimed that the unknown male stabbed him. The victim then returned to Cedar Street in order to call 911.

According to the press release, LPD checked the area of Carver Street area but was unable to locate the scene of the incident. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and later released, according to LPD. The incident is under investigation by the LPD criminal investigations section.
