Albert Lee Rice, age 92, of LaGrange, passed away on May 11, 2019 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. He was born on May 4, 1927 to the late Leonard Rice and Lila Rice in Newell, Alabama. He worked for the Callaway Mills, Milliken & Company, and Interface Flooring, LLC. He also operated a small business, Rice TV Repair. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Aileen Ayers Rice; brothers, Loyd Rice, Floyd Rice, Bobby Rice, and Venice Rice; sister, Jeanette Rice.

Survivors include his son, Don Rice (Judy); daughter, Cathy Whittington (Steve); sister, Helen Cobb; grandchildren, Jason Rice, Brandon Rice (Bryn), Christy Prince, and Susan Kelley; great grandchildren, Ailee Rice, Avett Rice, Timothy Sparks, C.J. Kelley, Lizzy Kelley; sister in law, Leona Rice; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Pastor Benjie Dukes officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment followed at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
