Mr. Jesse Floyd Broome passed away Tuesday in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was born May 23, 1947 in Glenn, Heard County, Georgia to Catherine Broome and the late Jame H. Broome. He united with the Stateline Baptist Church, and attended Ethel W. Kight School.

Survivors include three children,  Jesse Floyd (Latonya) Broome, Jr., Timothy Broome, Stephanie (Raymond) Payne, Sr.; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren; his mother, Catherine Broome; four sisters,  Mary Laye, Willene Phillip, Jeanell Reese, Maxine Williams; one brother, William (Mattie) Broome; aunt, Ruby Watkins; four sisters-in-law,  Minister Deborah Broome, Annie P. Broome, Dollie Jo Hinton, Mary Reed; one brother-in-law, James Earl Hinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in Michigan and Georgia.

The Service will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Stateline Baptist Church.
