Paul K. Davis, 73, of LaGrange, GA passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.

Mr. Davis born May 5, 1946 in Heard County, GA to the late James Henry Davis and Sarah Louise Paschal Davis. He had a strong work ethic, retiring from Playtex as a mechanic and receiving a 20 year Perfect Attendance Award and then worked at Newnan Hospital for ten more years before enjoying his much deserved retirement. Paul proudly served his country, in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and member of the Renegade Hunting Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant siblings, and his brothers, JW Davis, Jack Davis, and Eli Davis.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vickie Davis; son, Jay (Felicity) Davis; daughter, Paula Novelle-Davis; stepdaughters, Sherry (Jim) Clemons and Kristie (Keith) Hart; grandchildren, Oasis (Jordan) Nichols, Christopher (Elizabeth) Carter, Victoria Hart, Caitlin Nunis (Jeremy Torbush), Serah (Jeremiah) Dixon, Eli Clemons and Grace Hart; great grandchildren, Carter Nunis, Jagger Torbush, and Jacob Nichols; brother and sister in laws, Judy (Jerry) Nelms, Glenda (Lamar) Brooks, Glenn (Cynthia) Yates; several beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor Daniel Bookhoop officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
