Armed robber attempts to burglarize Burger King

The LaGrange Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Burger King on Roanoke Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday night.

According to a LPD press release, an armed man holding a silver revolver entered the business and demanded money. The employees confronted the man and refused to turn over any money, and the man fled the scene, according to the LPD.

The suspect was described as a black male who was between 5’8”-6’0” and was approximately 140 to 180 pounds. The male was wearing khaki pants, a black in color sweatshirt and his face was partially covered with a black cloth. The male had on a red in color shoe and a blue in color shoe.

Currently the Criminal Investigations Section is investigating more into the attempted burglary.
