Construction has begun on phase two of the Bryant Lake Residential Community build, which was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house Friday night.

“We have people moving to this area just for this subdivision,” said Kendall Butler, broker and owner of F.L.I. Properties. “The whole subdivision has all the standard features of hardwood floors in common areas, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, etc.”

Butler said that what you normally see as builder upgrades in the properties are regular features in all the homes.

“The new phase in Bryant Lake is the first residential development in the City of LaGrange in over 12 years,” Butler said. “All homes that are complete are already under contract.”

The subdivision has private amenities to all its homeowners, including tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a private 25-acre lake that Butler said residents take their kayaks out on all the time.

“Residents can take out their kayaks and have access to a secluded duck pond that no one else can get to,” Butler said. “They really love that.”

Butler said that there will be approximately 200 houses built from the second phase, with 30 being lake side properties.

“We are very excited to bring innovative houses to the area and to give exceptional quality with a great value,” Butler said.

“Phase two has begun and will be completed in 2020.”
