Rose Marie Krimm, 80, passed away from complications of dementia, on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at West Georgia Hospice. Born in Sparta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Zona Rutherford Andrews. She was a 1957 graduate of Sparta High School and a 1959 graduate of National Business College in Roanoke, Va. She worked for the Norfolk & Western Railroad in Roanoke and was an active member of the National Association of Railway Business Women. In 1970 she married A. Denis Krimm of Baltimore, MD. They lived in Baltimore and raised two sons, Joseph and Darian. Rose Marie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was always an active member of her church. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was particularly gifted at creating beautiful birthday and wedding cakes. Survivors include her sons, Joseph D. Krimm (Colleen) of Baltimore, MD and Darian A. Krimm (Rachel) of LaGrange, GA; seven grandchildren, Kathryn, Jonathan, Lauren, Harper, Mason, Natalie, and Mallory; a brother, Alvin S. Andrews (Helen) of Wytheville, VA; a sister, Roberta Andrews Reese (Thomas, deceased) of Berryville, VA; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Andrews of Fort Chiswell, VA, and Juanita Sanders Andrews of Moravian Falls, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. Denis Krimm; two brothers; Charles M. Andrews and Alfred E. Andrews, Sr.; and two nephews; James Reese and Alfred E. Andrews, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, at First United Methodist Church of LaGrange conducted by Rev. Blake Trent and Rev. Dr. John Beyers. Private interment will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
