Catherine Whitsett Williams, 80, of LaGrange, GA passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 at Wellstar West Georgia Hospice.

Catherine was born November 5, 1938 in Washington, Co. AL to the late Jerry Thomas Whitsett and Evalena Waite Whitsett. She was a member of First Baptist Church on the Square and had worked as an Office Manager at Chatom Clinic before retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Edgar “Edd” Williams; sons, Steve (Janit) Williams and Mark (Rachael) Williams; grandchildren, Brandi (Joey) Hallmark, Jennifer (Eric) Crouch, Mike (Gabriella) Williams, Reed Williams, and Tyler Williams; 9 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service will be 3:00 p. m. EST Sunday, July 28, 2019 at First Baptist Church on the Square with Dr. Paul Baxter and Pastor Cade Farris officiating with the family receiving friends from 2:00pm until service time at the church. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. CST Monday, July 29, 2019 at Millry Baptist Church with family receiving friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the church. The Committal Service will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Millry, AL.
