Mr. Casper LeRoy Ellis

Mr. Casper LeRoy Ellis, 77, of LaGrange passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his home on Hill Street. Mr. Ellis was born Sept. 20, 1941 in Avon Park Florida the son of the late Casper H. and Mrs. Alma Lois Thomlinson Ellis. 

Mr. Ellis was a member of the Cowboy Church and retired from Fredenburg-NOK as a maintenance tech. Casper was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era and a lifetime member of DAV. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kirby Ellis and a son, Anthony Scott Ellis, and sister, Jan Fels.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Marit and Chris Hagebak; daughter-in-law, Robin Monan Ellis; grandchildren, Amber (Brett) Karr, Caleb E. Ellis and Sage Hagebak; great grandchildren, Tinsley Karr and Hudson Karr; sister-in-law, Pat Huber; and special friends, Mike and Bonnie King.

Memorial services for Mr. Casper LeRoy Ellis will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, from 4 p.m. until the service hour. The family requests that memorial be made to the Disabled American Veterans in memory of Mr. Ellis. Military honors will be presented.
