Mr. James Harry Johnson, age 79, of West Point, Georgia passed away at his home on August 7, 2019.  Mr. Johnson was born on November 1, 1939 to the late John Wesley Johnson and Maudie Hill Johnson.  Mr. Johnson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Mr. Johnson has been married to Patricia Williams Johnson for 61 years.  Along with his parents, he was predeceased by 4 of his siblings.  His wife Patricia “Pat” Johnson survives him as well as his sons, Greg Johnson (Kim), C.J. Johnson (Holly); daughter, Robin Johnson Daniel (Roger); sisters, Queenie Glass, Doris Hood, Bertha Faye Smith, grandchildren, Ashleigh Johnson, Nick Johnson (Chelsea), Bodhi Johnson, Quentin Johnson, Landon May, Heath Daniel (Heather), Chase Daniel;  one great grandchild, Ellis Daniel; nieces, nephews and extended family.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginsfuneralhomes.com.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel, 706-884-7117.
