The Troup softball team was supposed to play a key region road game on Tuesday, but it was postponed.

Troup will instead visit Sandy Creek on Wednesday, with first pitch set for 5:30 p.m.

Both teams are playing well.

Sandy Creek has won three in a row to improve to 4-1, and today will be its Region 5-AAAA opener.

Troup is 4-3, and it went 2-1 in the Callaway Classic last weekend.

Troup is 0-1 in the region after losing an extra-inning heart-breaker to defending region-champion Chapel Hill.

Troup was ahead 6-2 heading to the seventh inning, but Chapel Hill rallied to tie it before winning 11-7 in nine innings.
