Sandra Ann Langford Madore, age 72, of LaGrange, GA, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday evening, August 18, 2019. She was born on October 23, 1946 in LaGrange.

“Sandy,” a retired Registered Nurse, was an inspirational free-spirit who extended love and grace to everyone. Her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandsons.

Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Ellen Langford; one son, Joseph “Joey” Madore; and a brother-in-law, James Shirey. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Lee Addis (Joshua Wensell) of Canton, GA, and Christine “Christy” Stanfield (Creig) of Birmingham, AL; five grandsons, Alex Stanfield, Andrew Stanfield, Jack Stanfield, A.J. Addis, and Jackson Wensell; two sisters, Janelle Langford Shirey, and Marie Langford Janney, both of LaGrange; nieces, Tammy Shirey Waites (Ricky), Tina Janney, and Jessica Sebaugh (Kenny); one nephew, Larry E. Janney Jr. (Kaylee); and many other beloved relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Sandy Madore’s Life will be at 12 noon (EST) on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Baptist Tabernacle, 849 S. Davis Road, LaGrange, GA 30241. Rev. Jimmy McMillian will officiate, and Rev. Willie T. Edmonson will present music. The family will greet friends at a potluck dinner in the church’s fellowship hall immediately after the service. Private burial, Mooty Cemetery, LaGrange.
