Virginia Watson Malone passed away on August 24, 2019.  Born July 12, 1925 in Starkville Mississippi, she and her husband Glen Watson moved from Atlanta to Lagrange, Georgia to enjoy their retirement.  Some of her greatest passions were playing golf and visiting with her friends.  She smiled often and warmed the hearts of those who knew her.

Survivors include her children Marianne Drake, Susan Martin, and Glen Watson.  The spouses of her children are Stu Drake, Gene Martin, and Patty Watson.  Her grandchildren are Jennifer Drake, Bill Drake, Gene Martin, Watson Martin, Caleb Martin, Emily Thibodeaux and Melissa Watson.  Her great granddaughter is Estelle Martin.  The family requests that any contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Graveside services were held on August 26, 2019 at the Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
