The LaGrange Police Department responded to call on Monday night in reference to a person who had been shot at 404 Town Center Drive. 

According to a press release from LPD, when officers arrived to the scene, they met with a 62-year-old male victim who had a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. 

The victim told officers that he heard a knock on his door and when he opened it, he saw an unknown person wearing a mask. 

When he tried to close the door on the unknown person, they fired one shot at him, and it struck him in the left shoulder. 

The victim was transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center to be treated for his injuries. According to LPD, this case is still currently under investigation.
