The lights will be shining brightly at Callaway Stadium this week.

There will be three games in three days at Callaway Stadium, beginning with Thursday’s showdown between Troup and Harris County.

Next up will be Friday’s game between Callaway and Cross Keys on Thursday, and LaGrange hosts Hampton on Saturday.

Lafayette Christian School is off this week, and it will have its homecoming game next week.

First up this week, it’ll be Troup looking to improve to 3-0 with a win over a Harris County team that fell to 2-1 with last week’s 27-14 loss to Upson-Lee.

Troup, which opened with a 59-24 win over Ridgeland, overwhelmed Columbus 68-13 last week to remain unbeaten.

Troup faces county rival Callaway next week before playing the first of six straight Region 5-AAAA games.

On Friday, Callaway (1-1) will look to build on its impressive 56-10 win over LaGrange last week.

Callaway opened its season with a hard-fought 10-7 loss to Opelika.

It’s been a struggle for Cross Keys, which is 0-3 and has been outscored 181-6 in those three games combined.

After next week’s game with Troup, Callaway will begin its six-game Region 5-AA schedule.

LaGrange (1-1), which began the season with a 24-9 win at Heard County, is in bounce-back mode after losing to Callaway 56-10 last week.

LaGrange is off next week, and it opens Region 5-AAAA play against Central-Carroll on Sept. 27.
