Mae Dean Stewart Johnston, of LaGrange, passed away on September 10, 2019 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. She was born on May 5, 1925 to the late Olin Stewart and Lily Mae Stone Stewart in Randolph County, Alabama. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Thomas Johnston, Jr.

Survivors include her son, Bubba Johnston, daughter, Elaine Griffin (Jerry), Beverly Johnston (Wayne); sisters, Janell Shreve, Anita Headley(Bill); grandchildren, Lee, Janet(Mike), Bonnie(Sid), Gary(Christy), Tiffany, Courtney(Johnny), Clare(Scott), Stewart(Tiffany), David(Brittany); great grandchildren, Matthew(Kierra), Shelby(Chuck), Garrett(Tiffany), Collin, Taylor, Jacob, Trea(Brittney), Lucas(Ashley), Benjamin, William, Parker, Wyatt, Hunter, Aiden, Ava, Tucker, Lily, Penelope; great-great grandchildren, Kadience, Madison, Anna Charles, Emersyn, Skylar; extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel starting at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bill Headley and Rev. Wayne Hester officiating.
