Deacon Paul Sherman passed away Saturday. He was born August 12, 1931 in Harris County, Georgia to the late Robert and Carrie Sherman. He united with New Rock Springs Baptist Church, and was employed by Williams Brothers until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Lurline Sherman; their children:  Ruby Davis, Pauline (Hubert) Dunlap, Willie Paul (Annie) Sherman, European Davis, Cynthia (George) Haynes, all of Pine Mountain, GA; and Darron Walker; grandchildren, forty seven grandchildren; seventy-nine great grandchildren; twenty-four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Sylvester (Angel) Sherman of Greenville, GA; one brother-in-law, James Hutchinson of Tampa, FL; and one sister-in-law, Wellene (Clayton) Mason of Pine Mountain, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Solomon Grove Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 1777 Crawford Creek Road, Pine Mountain.
