Tony Yarbrough was born in Langdale, Alabama on May 6, 1950 to Calvin and Cenus Yarbrough.  He went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Andy, his parents and sister, Eva May.  He is survived by his brother, Terry (Anne) Yarbrough and several nieces, nephews, special friends and caregivers.  Tony had a successful air condition business in LaGrange before being disabled by a stroke.  He then turned his talent toward volunteering at West Georgia Medical Center for 23 years.  After retiring from there, he spent his last years at the Active Life Center, playing pool and dominos with many friends.  He was a member of Dunson Baptist Church.  He loved and valued his church family.  He will be missed.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 1 p.m. at the Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating.  Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers,- memorial donations may be made to the Dunson Baptist Church, WellStar West Georgia Hospice or the charity of your choice.  Hunter A-llen Myhand Funeral Home, 706-884-5626.
