LaGrange College to host panel on clean energy

Conservatives for Clean Energy Georgia (CCEGA) is planning a National Clean Energy Week (NCEW) program in conjunction with The Ray (clean energy highway) located in West Point. 

The event will be held at LaGrange College on Oct. 3 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Dickson Assembly Room at Turner Hall.

According to a press release, the goal of the program is to create a link of support for clean energy via an intersection of all the key players in the Georgia energy landscape that includes federal, state legislative, state executive branch and state regulatory.  

Political science professor John Tures of LaGrange College will play host to the event.

Panelists for the program will be former Congressman Lynn Westmoreland, Senator Randy Robertson, Georgia Public Service Commissioner Jason Shaw and The Ray Executive Director Allie Kelly.
