On Saturday night, LaGrange police officers responded to a shooting on the 1000 block of Whitesville Street. 

According to a press release from LPD, when officers arrived, two victims reported hearing gun shots before being struck by bullets. 

LPD stated that the 42-year-old male victim was shot once in the chest and the 55-year-old other male victim was shot once in the leg. The chest gunshot victim was transported to Columbus hospital for treatment. The victim with the gunshot wound to leg was transported to West Georgia Medical center, where he was treated and released.
