LaGrange falls to Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill scored two defensive touchdowns on the way to a 35-10 win over visiting LaGrange on Friday.

Chapel Hill returned a fumble for a touchdown in the first quarter, and it had an interception for a score later in the game.

For LaGrange, Charles Crawford threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Tristan Smith, and Micah Proffitt made a 30-yard field goal.

It was the final region game for LaGrange (2-7 overall), which finishes its season with a home game against Shaw on Thursday.

Chapel Hill (5-4 overall) improved to 3-2 in the region heading into next week’s regular-season finale against Cedartown.
