Anna Jane Hurston Childs passed away Friday. She was born January 6, 1946 to the late Amos and Anna Hurston of Troup County, Georgia.

She united with Wehadkee Baptist Church, attended Ethel W. Kight School, and West Georgia Tech. Anna was previously employed by Hanes Hosiery and Kimberly Clark.

Survivors include three daughters Ms. Mary Childs, Mrs. Gloria Scott, and Ms. Judy Childs all of LaGrange; seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

The Service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 141 Woodridge Circle.
