Rev. Pitner Roland Cross, age 88, of LaGrange, passed away from this life on December 18, 2019 at his residence.  Rev. Cross was born on October 17, 1931 in Walker County, Georgia to the late Grady Cross and Katie Lou Day.  He faithfully served as a Minister of the Gospel with the Church of God, serving at Gray Hill Church of God for over twenty eight years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alton Cross and a sister, Molly Parker.  Survivors include his wife of over 69 years, Bobbie Cross; children, Donna Haynes (Paul), Martha Fowler (Tony), Joel Cross (LaDonna), David Cross (Susan) and Abby Taylor (Barry); brothers, Dennis Alexander (Phyllis) and Max Cross (Faye); 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren with one on the way; 3 great great grandchildren; several half brothers and sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 3 p.m. at the Gray Hill Church of God with Rev. David Cross and Rev.
