LaGrange police officers responded to the Econolodge motel on Whitesville Road Saturday morning in regards to shots fired into a hotel room. 

According to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department, the two victims told officers that at approximately 2:30 a.m. they checked into their room and went to bed. Shortly after shots were fired into their room. 

Surveillance video showed a sporty SUV fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed, according to the press release. 

This case is still under investigation.
