Mrs. Sandra Lee Morrison Burdette, age 73, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 7, 2020, at the Cancer Center of America in Newnan.

Mrs. Burdette was born on April 24, 1946, in Lester, Alabama to the late James Mitchell Morrison and Mauvalee Price Morrison.  She held a Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University and was the President/Owner of Telecom Enterprises from 1985 to 2011.

Mrs. Burdette was a member of Grace Baptist Church in LaGrange. Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Thomas E. Burdette, Sr. of LaGrange; son, Thomas E. Burdette, Jr. of Columbus; daughter, Shannon Burdette Clark (Robbie) of LaGrange; granddaughters, Rory Kloster of LaGrange, Karsyn Burdette of Newnan, Emma Burdette of Newnan and Ramsey Clark of LaGrange; grandson, Price Burdette of Newnan; brothers, Mike Morrison (Kay) of Lake Como, Florida and Jamie Morrison (Cheryl) of West Point; sister in law, Ellen Burdette Williams (Coleman) of Hugley, Alabama; brother in law, Ruben Burdette (Janet) of Lanett, Alabama; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services for Mrs. Burdette will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, at 2 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in LaGrange with the Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating.  Private family interment services will be held.  Family will receive friends on Friday at Grace Baptist beginning at 1 p.m. until service hour.
