Mrs. Brenda Wilkinson passed away Thursday.

She was born Sept. 14, 1958, to James “Pete” Nelson and Mary Scott Nelson in Troup County, Georgia.

She graduated from LaGrange High School, Class of 1975; attended LaGrange College; was previously employed by West Georgia Health. 

She served faithfully at Fellowship Christian Center.

Survivors include her four children:  Jacquece Moss, Silver Springs, MD; Krystal Nelson, Courtney Wilkinson (Kenneth) Taylor, and Emerik (Shantivria) Wilkinson, LaGrange; six grandchildren; three sisters: Virginia (Gene) Nelson, Shirley Wilkinson and Dorothy “Dot” Thornton; four brothers: Willie Nelson, Robert Nelson, Ricky (Aimee) Nelson and Wayne (Marian) Nelson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends.

The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Triumph Holiness Church. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
