Mother Mamie Strozier passed away Thursday.

She was born Nov. 13, 1933, in Troup County to the late Ned Washington Davis and Annie Lou Davis.

Mother Mamie united with Branch Hebron Baptist Church and was employed by West Point Stevens’ Dunson Mill.

Survivors include her children: Clinton (Sharon) Strozier of LaGrange, Ellen Strozier Tunipseed of Ellenwood, Timothy (Lisa) Strozier of North Augusta, South Carolina, Danny (Tracy) Strozier of Greenville Sandy (Darshunn) Strozier of Columbus, and Tony (Cherise) Strozier of Jonesboro; grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Etrulia Strozier; four nieces whom she helped rear; childhood friends; several other nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, friends, and church members.

The service will be Saturday at noon at Branch Hebron Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 107 Apricot Street, Odessadale.

The excellent care of Mother Strozier is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
