Jessie Mae Stogner Williamson — 1933-2020

Mrs. Jessie Mae Stogner Williamson, 86, of LaGrange, passed away on Feb. 13, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. Mrs. Williamson was born on June 22, 1933, in Carrollton, Georgia, to the late Robert Hoyt Stogner and Alice Bowen Stogner.

Mrs. Williamson retired from Playtex after many years of service. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert A. Williamson; son, Barry Williamson; daughter-in-law, Pamela Williamson; siblings, Bobby Stogner and Betty Gaddy (Mrs. Gaddy’s deceased husbands, Jr Knight and Aubrey Gaddy); five half brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her son, Larry H. Williamson; daughter, Wanda Sue Williamson Adams; sister, Marcelle Stallings (Clifford); brothers, Mose Stogner (Diane) and James Stogner (Janice); daughter in law, Darlene Williamson; sister-in-law, Estelle Stogner; grandchildren and their spouses, Brandi Williamson, Jay Williamson, Justin Williamson, Kim Thompson, Ace Adams, Beau Adams, Jennifer Adams, Hope Williamson and B.J. Williamson; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at noon at the Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Stallings and Rev. Chris Wilkie officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until service hour at the funeral home.

Pallbearers for the service are Michael Stogner, David Stogner, Jerry Knight, Terry Stallings, Justin Williamson and Clint Barrentine.
