Ms. Patricia Mooty Underwood passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Feb. 14, at the age of 78.

She worked for General Motors at Doraville, Georgia, for 32 years before retiring and operating “Pat’’s Corner Store” on Union Street.

Patricia is survived by her son, Phillip Underwood; sisters: Joyce Mooty, Irma Mooty, Valerie (Roy) Robinson; nephews, nieces, and relatives.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 106 Shannon Drive and would like to express thanks to the City of LaGrange Police Department and all the organizations for their support and a special thanks to all the neighbors that assisted.

The excellent care of Ms. Underwood is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
