Mr. Derrick Delon Lindsey passed away Monday. He was born June 17, 1968, in LaGrange. 

He graduated from Therrell High School, Class of 1986, enlisted in the US Navy and attended Atlanta Metro College, Atlanta Technical College, Georgia State University; and obtained numerous state licenses. He was employed and later retired from the City of Atlanta.

Survivors include his children: Jovan Roberts, Cyndreka Lindsey, Shunta Jones, Derrenee’ Lindsey, Derrick Lindsey, Jr., D’Cedric Lindsey; seven grandchildren; mother, Zora Lindsey; siblings: Earnest Lindsey, Jr., Traviera (Robert) Coverson, Maleate (Bernard) Render, and Tish McCutchen.

The service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Confidence. 

The excellent care of Mr. Lindsey is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
