Mrs. Katherine Broughton passed away Saturday.

She was born March 23, 1926, in the Knotts of Community of LaGrange, to the late, Frank and Lula Boddie.

She united with New Mount Olive Baptist Church, was educated at the Knotts Community Center, and retired from Milliken’s Kex Plant.

Survivors include her son, Michael Woodard, LaGrange, GA; daughter-in-law, Shirley Mae Woodard; and a host nieces, nephews, and relatives.

The service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Knotts Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 912 Mason Street.

The excellent care of Mrs. Broughton is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
